Goddess Chants
As interesting and exciting as it can be to learn about goddesses,
direct personal experience of goddess energy is even better. Chanting, silently or aloud, is a great way to
goddess-energize yourself at the deepest levels of your being.
Offered below are three simple yet powerful chants for your personal use.
Oya, Demeter, Hathor, me.
Astarte, Sophia, Kwan-Yin, me.
Lakshmi, Diana, Isis, me.
You can rework these chants any way you like to suit your own purposes. For example:
- To lift your spirits or to shake off an unpleasant mood: chant the names of three goddesses who give you the most pleasure
to visualize and think about.
- To strengthen yourself in areas where you are weak, or to cultivate new abiities: chant the names of three goddesses who
represent those qualities or abilities. Greek, Roman and East Indian goddesses work well for this purpose.
- To boost self-confidence: chant the names of three goddesses who represent strength and power to you.
