A Message to Girls
Every culture on our planet practices body adornment in one form or another,
and there is nothing wrong with using clothing, accessories, tatoos, makeup, etc., to create an image of yourself that you like,
and one that you think others will enjoy and appreciate too.
But do not allow yourself to fall into the trap of believing that you are this image.
You are not your body, your personality, your feelings, or even your mind. You are something far greater than these
things combined. You are a spiritual being, and you are here on this earth to realize yourself
as such, to the fullest extent possible.
Television, magazine and mall advertisers want you to believe that a girl's physical
image is all important, because they want you to buy their products. And it's not only advertisers who promote this
idea: society in general values a female's appearance over her character and abilities.
Please don't wait, begin now to embrace the one true image of yourself, that of a spiritual
being, a spark of Divine Beauty, Love, Compassion, Creativity, Intelligence and Power. The Great Goddess dwells within you,
as you.
Hold fast to this understanding as you move through the years ahead. Believe in yourself.
Strive to improve your character, to develop your mind and to learn new skills. Cultivate the ability to look within and to
see deeply into the true nature of things.
As you think, so you become, so practice turning your ordinary mind-chatter into
elevated, empowering self-talk, using affirmations like those in the Goddess
Thoughts to Live By section (on the orange band of the rainbow navbar). If you do these things,
you will grow up to be the goddess-realized woman you were born to be.
